Mary Louisa, daughter of John and Cyrena Ayres was born in Bridgewater, Williams county, Ohio, March 5, 1842 and died at her home in Amboy, Mich., aged 77 years, 1 month and 3 days.
April 27, 1861 she was united in marriage to Timothy Elliott of Amboy, Mich. and with the exception of the first year of their married life which was nearly 58 years, have lived on the farm they now occupy. To this union were born four children, Mrs. Edith Hukill of Amboy, Mrs. Cyrena Bailey of Frontier, Alice E. who died in infancy and Mrs. Ethel McCutcheon of Ransom.
Though frail in body she was strong in love and faith and was a living example to her family and friends. She leaves to mourn their loss, a husband, three children, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Our loss is her eternal gain.
Card of Thanks was signed by Mr. Timothy Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hukill,
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bailey, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred McCutcheon.
