Hiram D. LOVEJOY, an old resident of Cambria township, died Tuesday morning aged seventy-two years, on the farm of
Allen Agnew of this city where he has resided for the past two years. His death came very suddenly although he had been
ailing for some weeks. Mr. Lovejoy was an old and respected citizen, having lived in the county for fifty years and he
has accomplished much for the making of its history. For about fifteen years he was a resident of this city on West
Bacon street and removed from here about twenty-five years ago. He was a charter member of the Methodist church at
Frontier and has been a member of that denomination for over forty years. The funeral services were held Thursday at one
o'clock at the Methodist church in Frontier Rev. White officiating. He is survived by three children, George, Clara and
Rose. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Agnew of this city attended the funeral services.
