NORRIS, Wilma Lucile
Wilma, the 8-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. NORRIS [of Litchfield], died Sunday after a ten days' illness of spinal meningitis, during which time the little one's sufferings were acute. For eighty hours the baby had been unable to take nourishment naturally, and during all the period of its illness was in constant pain.
The funeral was held Tuesday at the M. E. church, where the floral offerings were profuse, and where a large number of friends of the family listened to the words of cheer, hope and consolation spoken by Rev. R. D. FREEMAN, after which interment was made in Mt. Hope cemetery. In behalf of a sympathetic community the Gazette extends to the bereaved family that heartfelt sympathy which softens the shock and lightens the burdens of all who are heavily afflicted.
