De Ledger of Gerrit Winsemius

Gerrit Winsemius was born in the Netherlands and migrated to Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He installed and repaired organs and had some connection with a piano-maker, Manville.  His ledger (journal) records many historical happenings in Grand Rapids besides family and friends.
His ledger has been preserved by his daughter, Dorothy, who is 102 years old.  Gerrit's great granddaughter, Becky Haber, has transcribed the ledger and very kindly is sharing it with all of us.  If you have a special interest in more information about the ledger or Gerrit Winsemius, you may contact Becky at her email address:  BeckSPED@aol.com.
You will find the ledger entries immediately following the index.
