Ron Essink, graduated from Grand Valley State College where he was heavyweight boxing champion in 1980.

He was an offensive tackle who walked out of the Seattle Seahawk’s training camp (year?) Thursday night, and may be sold to the Dallas Cowboys, according to Seattle officials.

He was inducted into the Grand Valley State University Hall of Fame in 1996.
