CERTIFICATES Below we present copies of the certificates signed by the members composing the committee appointed by the President of the Old Residents' Society to correct and revise the manuscript of the general history of the county, and that of the city of Grand Rapids. These certificates will show to those who examine this work that great care was taken to have it authentic. The gentlemen whose names are connected with the certificates have been prominently identified with the county for many years, and are known to be men of ability, sound judgement, integrity and deeply interested in the history of their county.
