Killed and Wounded in the Seventh Michigan Cavalry

A friend allows us to copy from a private letter the list of killed and wounded in the Seventh Michigan Cavalry from the 6th to the 12th inst. M.A. Shafer, Stewart of the regiment says in his communication that the list is complete, and also that Lieut. Thomas A. Edie, of the Sixth Cavalry, was killed--shot through the head, living only about one hour afterwards--while gallantly leading Company "A" in a charge against the enemy: Name Co.
