Mrs. Carrie M. Campau

Mrs. Carrie M. Campau, 79, resident of Grand Rapids since 1924, died Friday, afternoon at her home, 908 Lakeside SE.

Widow of Frank E. Campau who died in 1914. She was born 3/14/1863 at North Brownsville, now Alaska, MI, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Brown. She married Mr. Campau in 1887 and they lived in Alaska until 1905.

Surviving are a son, George F., of Port Huron, a brother, Fred, and a sister, Mrs. Libbie Fisher of Grand Rapids. Five grandsons – Edward of Alto, Francis of Alto, Lieutenant Fred of the army air force, Robert of F. Lewis, Washington

Funeral services will be held at Metcalf Chapel.
