Rev. G. A. De Haan Is Dead

He Was Pastor of the Christian Reformed Church at Oakdale Park

Rev. G. A. De Haan, pastor of the Christian Reformed church of Oakdale Park, died yesterday at 9:45 a.m. Rev. de Haan was born in Enumatil, province of Groningen, the Netherlands, on January 7, 1862. He with his parents immigrated to this city 1882.

Rev. De Haan was installed as pastor of the Oakdale Park church nearly four years ago and was very successful in his ministerial labors. On a visit to his old home in the Netherlands, this summer, he took sick on account of intestinal troubles. These, and consequent physical exhaustion, caused his death yesterday. He leaves a wife and two children. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m.
