Hattie Crosby Newton, 36 years old, wife of Horatio A. Newton, 569 Shamrock street, S.W., died at her home Sunday night following a short illness. Besides her husband, two children, a daughter, Esther B., and a son, Glen survive. Private funeral services will be held from the house this Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, and from the Smith Memorial church, of which she was a member, at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
