Sacred Heart School, Grand Rapids, Michigan about 1917-1919

This photo was sent in by Dave Trepke.  It is a photo of his grandfather's, Charles F. Trepke (1905-1974) eighth grade class.
Charles is in the top row, second from the right.  The priest in the front row is Fr. Joseph Kaminski.
Charles' parents - Piotr Trepka (1873-1929) and Antonina Pienta Trepka were original members when Sacred Heart Church was
established.  The name Trepka was later changed to Trepke around World War I.  Antonina's father, Jacob Pienta (1846-1935)
and her mother, Agnes Myszak Pienta were also original members of Sacred Heart.
