1910--George Markham, the big Rapids scenic artist, has completed his scenery for the Majestic theater including the drop curtain.

1930--Starting this week the Colonial theatre is to present five acts of Vitaphone and vaudeville.  This is to be offered two nights each week.

1930--Featured at the local movie theatre is "Song O' My Heart"  starring John McCormack and Maureen O'Sullivan, plus Zane Grey's "Last of the Duanes" Coming soon is "Mammy" starring Al Jolson.
