Reuben J. Weber, farmer, sec. 35, Aetna Tp., was born in Monroe Co., N.Y., Feb. 21, 1858. He is the son of John and Phebe (Martin) Weber, natives respectively of Germany and Ireland. Mr. Weber remained at home under the care of his parents and attending school until 1867, when he came to Kiddville, Mich., and after a residence there of a few months he went to Grand Rapids. Here he went to school and was variously engaged, until the spring of 1871, when he came to Aetna Tp. and has been since occupied as a farmer. In 1882 he purchase 40 acres of wild land, and now has a considerably portion cleared.
In politics Mr. Weber is a Republican. He is a member of the German Lutheran Church, and active in furthering interests. He is still a young man, zealous in what he under takes, and executes intelligently. He is sure of future success and a life of usefulness in his generation.
