FARM PLUS TOOLS
W.J. Sloss & Son in Big Rapids and McCormick's in Morley were two locations in Mecosta County where farmers of yesteryears could purchase the "latest" farm machinery and other products, as well. The picture in Big Rapids was taken some time after 1910 looking north on Warren Avenue just before the intersection of Maple Street. The occasion was the delivery of 10 manure spreaders to the agriculture implements dealer located on the southwest cormer of the intersection. (Pioneer file photos)
