Menominee County Journal, September 15, 1939 Death Claims Two Venerable Women: Neville and Beaudoin Death Came to Mrs. Lea Pelchat Beaudoin, 79, widow of Rene Beaudoin Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at the home of her son, Joseph Beaudoin, where she had made her home the past two years. Surrounded by her loved ones, the mothers soul went peacefully forth. Infirmities due to old age was the direct cause of her death. She was born in Pleasantville, Quebec, Canada, seventy nine years ago last March 30th, and in 1880 married Mr. Beaudoin, who passed away December 16, 1932. They came to Stephenson where she has resided for more than 58 years. She is survived by six sons, Frank, Mose, Edward and Joseph of Stephenson; Fred of Menominee and Peter of Green Bay; one daughter, Mrs. Edward Hauser, and eleven Grandchildren. A sister and brother in Canada, also survive. During the World War this mother sent four sons, Mose, Fred, Peter, and Edward, to the service.The body was taken to the Diehm Funeral home and will be brought back to the home of her son, Jospeh Beaudoin, Friday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 7:30 o'clock at the home and 8 o'clock at Precious Blood Church. The casket will be carried by her six sons. Reverend Joseph H. Beauchene will officiate assisted by Rev. Wm. Schick of Daggett, and Rev. Joseph Duquette of Nadeau. Burial will be beside her husband in the Stephenson Cemetery. |
