Meningitis Proves Fatal
Mrs. Charles Beckler Sucoumbs to Complication of Duisease of Week’s Duration.
Leaves Babe of 4 Weeks
Deceased is Survived by Husband and Seven Children; Funeral Will Be Held Monday Afternoon
 
Mrs. Charles Beckler, 2215 Broadway, died last evening at six o’clock at St. Joseph’s hospital, following an illness of a week’s duration.  Meningitis was the direct cause of her death.  Mrs. Beckler was taken ill about a week ago with appendicitis and acute rheumatism.  Meningitis later developed and caused her death last evening.  The deceased was about 36 years old and is survived by her husband and seven children, the youngest being but four weeks old.  The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Square People’s undertaking rooms, the Rev. D.E. Long of the Presbyterian church to officiate.
 
n.b. Beckler is also spelled Beekler and Bechler.  Mrs. Beckler was the daughter of Henry Joseph Delsippe and Marie Anne Josephe Sacotte.  She was born in Gardner Township, Door County WI on March 7, 1875.  She married Charles Beckler, son of Conrad Bechler and Mary Faacke, on Mar. 15, 1894 in Marinette County WI.
