BELAND DIES FRIDAY Mrs. Prime Beland, 68, who fomerly lived at 336 Wells Avenue, died at 8:55 p.m. Friday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Settersten, 202 East Bay Shore Street, Marinette. She had been ill for eight years. Mrs. Beland was born in Canada October 6, 1875, and had lived in Menominee since she was a child. For the past four years she had been with her daughter in Marinette. The decedent was a member of St. Anne's church, St. Ann's society, the Daughters of Isabella and Royal Neighbors of America. Survivors are the following sons and daughters: John and Edward Beland, Mrs. William (Florence) Fehrenbach of Menominee, Mrs. John (Catherine) Settersten of Marinette; Arthur Beland of Sacramento, Calif.: and 17 grandchildren. Mr. Beland, whom she married September 16, 1895, died in March, 1942. Funeral services are to be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Roy Cadieu mortuary and at 9 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, Rev. Father Francis Geynet will officiate at the mass and burial will be in Riverside cemetery. **NOTE: Her husband's obituary states that Mrs. Beland's name was Ellen McGuire. |
