Marinette Eagle-Star, Thurs., 15 Jan 1970, p 2 W. BERO, 70, DIES AT HOME William Joseph Bero Sr., 70 of 1613 28th Ave., Menominee, died on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at his home. Mr. Bero was born May 31 1899, in Menominee. He was employed by the Signal Electric Division of King Seeley Corporation until his retirement. He was a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Adalbert Church and the Legion of Mary. Survivors include his widow, the former Florence Beland, whom he married June 2, 1923, in Menominee; two sons, William J. Jr. of Appleton and Gerald J. of Green Bay; three sisters, Mrs. Eldrick Belanger, Mrs. Marcella Zeman and Mrs. Mae Kubiak, all of Menominee; a brother, Harold of Menominee; and eight grandchildren. Friends may call at the Kell funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Adalbert Church. The Rev. Michael Dilmore will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. Legion of Mary members will recite the rosary at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Holy Name Society rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. and the parish rosary will be at 8 p.m. |
