OTTO J. GOLUEKE TAKEN BY DEATH

Otto J. Golueke, 81, lifelong resident of the twin cities, died today at St. Joseph-Lloyd Hospital after an illness of one week.  Mr. Golueke retired in 1952 from Scott Paper Company after working as a mason and general repairman for 27 years.  Prior to that time he worked as a mason with his father.  After his retirement, Mr. Golueke started work in 1950 as a janitor at Our Lady of Lourdes High School and later was assigned to a similar position at Our Lady of Lourdes Grade School.  He concluded his employment three years ago.  He was born in Menominee on March 21. 1887, and attended schools there.  On Jan. 10, 1910, he married the former Amelia Schneider.  He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and also of the Marinette Council of the Knights of Columbus.  Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, Eugene of Marinette, Robert of Green Bay and Clarence of San Pablo, Calif.; a brother, George, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Rank, of Detroit.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Friends may call at McLain-Thielen-Langer funeral home from Friday at 4 p.m.  The rosary will be recited Friday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.  Final rites will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.  The Rev. Robert Hogan will officiate and burial wll be in Forest Home Cemetery.
