FORMER RESIDENT OF MENOMINEE IS STRICKEN

Sylvester Golueke, 82, former resident of Menominee, died Friday in Evanston, Ill.  He was a retired bricklayer.  Mr. Golueke was born in 1880 at Green Bay and came to Menominee as a young man.  His wife, the former Theresa Bayerl, died in 1936.  His only survivor is his son.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m., in St. Mary's church at Evanston.  The body will then be sent to the Lemieux funeral home where friends may call after 4 p.m., Tuesday.  Final rites are tentatively set for Wednesday morning.
