Marinette Eagle Star, Tues, 3 Feb 1920 p 3 AGED MENOMINEE MAN DIES AT HOME MONDAY Thomas McGuire, pioneer resident of Menominee, past away at his home 506 Williams avenue, Menominee, last night at 10 o'clock after an illness of some time. Heart failure was given as the cause of his death. Mr. McGuire was born in Canada in 1846 and later moved to Oconto, Wis., from which town he moved to the city of Menominee where he has been a resident for the past forty years. For eighteen years he was proprietor of the Exchange hotel of Main street, Menominee. He leaves behind him one sister, Mrs. J. Deschaine of Marinette and nine children, who are, Patrick of Menominee; John of Cloquet, Minn.; Albert, who is in the service of the United States; Thomas of Menominee, and Mrs. A. Duford of Niagara, Wis.; Mrs. J. Cacheler of Menominee; Mrs. Z. Beaulieu, of Cloquet, and Mrs. F. Max of Duluth, Minn. (Buried in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, MI) |
