Silvan W. Capen
Company K, 14th Michigan Infantry
Silvan enlisted at Locke, Michigan, on March 1, 1864, for three years service at the age of 28. He took the muster in oath on March 30, 1864. He was captured near Bentonville, NC, by the Confederates on March 26, 1865, and later paroled. He was discharged at Camp Chase, Ohio, on June 15, 1865.
