Levi Hemminger

This photo is self explanatory. Mr Hemminger is the 3rd man from the right in the photo.From Marquette, Michigan, Levi enlisted on August 11, 1862.for 3 years of service at the age of 19. He was reported absent due to wounds in July of 1864. He returned to duty after his release from Haddington Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was mustered out of the service on July 26, 1865, at Delaney House, District of Columbia.
