Selah Augustus McGee

Augustus (his given name of Selah is not used in the records of the 11th) enlisted the the 11th Cavalry on October 20, 1863 at Saranac, Michigan, for 3 years service at the age of 18. He took the muster oath on October 20, 1863. He transferred to Company M of the 8th Michigan Cavalry on July 20, 1865. He mustered out at Nashville, Tennessee, on September 22, 1865. He is buried in the Free Methodist Cemetery in Spring Arbor, Michigan.
