William Albert Henderson

From Lapeer County, William enlisted January 12, 1862, at Detroit for 3 years service and mustered in on March 4, 1862. Promoted to Corporal he was wounded in action at Bull Run, Virginia, on August 20, 1862, and again at Kelly's Ford, Virginia, on November 7, 1863. He tranferred to Company G, 5th Michigan Infantry on December 23, 1864. He was discharged on March 4, 1865.
