Isaac F. Whitaker

(Isaac is on the left, the other man is unidentified) Company I, 7th Michigan Infantry

From Kalamazoo County, Isaac enlisted at Galesburg, Michigan, on August 7, 1861, for three years of service at the age of 23. He re-enlisted on December 13, 1863, for the duration of the war at Stevensburg, Virginia. He was mustered out of the service at Jeffersonville, Indiana, on July 5, 1865.
