Charles C. Yarger
ERIE-----Charles C. Yarger, 77, of 111723 Strasburg Rd, LaSalle Township, died at 8:15 last night in his home. He was born in Ida Township, the son of Richard and Fietta Henry Yarger. April 18, 1901, he married Mary Schlisselmann, and in April 1951, they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mr Yarger is survived by his wife, two sons, Alvin of Erie and Robert of Addison, two daughters, Mrs Alvin Nieswender and Mrs Edmund Nieswender of Erie, 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a step brother*, Arthur Yarger of Toledo. One son preceded him in death.
His body will be in the Capaul funeral home at Ida until Friday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at the Evangelical United Brethern Church at Erie, with the Rev. Raymond Roe officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery at Erie.
