Charles E. Henry
Charles E. Henry of Temperance, 90, who once used a horse and buggy to deliver mail, died Friday at St Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, where he had been since Oct 18. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Erie. Born Oct 31, 1901, in Ida, son of John M. and Lydia (Boken) Henry. He married Doris Shenk on July 22, 1926 in Samaria. She died Sept 3, 1981.
Surviving are 3 sons, Charles D. of Ida, Dale A. of Samaria, and David L. of Monroe, one daughter, Mrs Herbert (Joanne) Smith of Temperance..........In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Irving, and a sister, Luella Kinsey.
