David M. Henry
IDA----Jan 6...After a year's illness from a heart ailment David M. Henry, retired farmer, died at 6:15 p.m. yesterday at the age of 78. Death occurred at his home in Temperance. born in Ida township March 31, 1865, Mr Henry had lived in the county all his life. He married Ida Elizabeth Kiefer Dec 12, 1889, who, with two sons and a brother, survive. The sons are Clinton G., Henry of Temperance, and Floyd of Dundee, and the brother, Morrison Henry of LaSalle. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the residence Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at the Morocco United Brethern church at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. G.A. Ward and the Rev. Lorence Rodenbeck will officiate. Interment will be in the Lulu cemetery. The body will be returned to the residence from the Capaul funeral home this afternoon or early this evening.
