Casimir Wiercioch officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph cemetery, Maybee. Liedel Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. He was born December 5, 1915, in Maybee, the son of Joseph and Mary (Hentschel) Straub. He was a farmer, retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Maybee, the London Senior Citizens and a former member of Milan Citizens and a former member of Milan Lodge 335, Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Walter and a sister, Mary Borgedain. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph‘s Church in Maybee.
