Harvey B. Reaume

ROCKWOOD - Oct. 12 - Harvey B. Reaume, 54, former treasurer of Chapman School district, died at 5 p.m. yesterday in his home at 8365 Dixie Highway, Newport.

The body is at the Ford funeral home, where services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and at 9 in St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, where military services will be conducted. Holy Name Society of the church will have prayers at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

Born in Newport, Aug. 10, 1896, he was the son of Domonic and Elizabeth Reaume. He married Frances Roberts Jan. 22, 1924, in St. Charles Church with the Rev. Alfred Herbert performing the ceremony.

He lived in this vicinity all his life. He was a World War I veteran, a member of the Monroe Knights of Columbus and an usher and member of the Holy Name Society of St. Charles Church.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Irving of Newport; two daughters, Mrs. Monte Sweet of Newport and Shirley at home; two brothers, Lafayette and Leo of Newport, and two sisters, Mrs. Victor Sisung of Newport and Mrs. Paul Eby of Maybee.
