James Doyle

James Doyle, 29 years old, died in Mercy Hospital Saturday night after a week’s illness of pneumonia. The Doyle home is at 502 East Sixth street. Mr. Doyle had lived in Monroe for the last eight years and had been employed as a machinist at the Monroe Auto Equipment Company for 10 years. He worked for the company when he lived in Toledo. He was born in Toledo November 1, 1906 and was married to Miss Marie Walter April 30, 1929, who with two sons survive. The sons are Raymond, five years old, and Donald 18 months old. He also leaves four brothers, Raymond, John and Leroy, all of Detroit, and Frank of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Dwight Williams, and Miss Gertrude Doyle, of Detroit. The body will be at the Rupp funeral home until Tuesday morning when the services will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 3 o’clock. The Rev. Fr. D. E. Perrin will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery, Detroit.
