MAYBEE – Joseph John Straub, infant son of Donald and Anna (Shoudel) Straub of 10602 Ferder Rd., died Saturday morning in University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, shortly after being transferred there from Mercy Hospital Unit, Monroe, where he was born Friday.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Cemetery, with the Rev. Casimir Wiercioch of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. The Liedel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In addition to his parents, the baby is survived by a brother, Donald Jr.; grandparents, Mrs. Carl Straub Sr. of Maybee [Monroe County, Michigan] and Mr. and Mrs. George Shoudel of Champaign, Ill., and great-grandmother, Mrs. Marie Shoudel of Arvilla, Ind.
