TEMPERANCE---Mrs. Lucy Yarger, 98, of 11157 Crabb Rd., Temperance, died Friday in the VanBuren Convalescent Center, Belleville, where she had been a resident since 1971. Friends may call the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Neriah Cemetery, Ida township. The daughter of Jacob and Mary (Shank) Moyer, she was born Sept 5, 1875, in Bedford township. She married Harbine Yarger who died in 1944.

She was a member of the Erie United Methodist Church and its Women's Society of Christian Serivce. She was a 50-year member of the Samaria Order of the Eastern Star and was a lifetime resident of Bedford township. Surviving are a son, James of Falls Church, Va., a daughter, Mrs. Clark (Eunice) Corey of Belleville, two grandsons, and three great-grandchildren.
