Mrs. Lydia (Bocken) Henry

TEMPERANCE----Mrs Lydia Henry, one of Monroe county's oldest residents, died Saturday night in the Beach Nursing Home where she had been a patient for three years. She would have been 98 Oct 12. Her home was 11503 Minx Rd. Born in 1861 in Genesee county, she was the daughter of George and Katherine Bocken. She was married to John Morrison Henry. He died in August 1955.

The body will be in the Capaul Funeral Home at Ida until 11 a.m. Tuesday when it will be taken to the Morocco United Brethern in Christ Church to lie in state until services at 2 p.m. The Rev. Laurence Rodenbeck will officiate, and burial will be in Erie Union Cemetery. Mrs Henry was a member of the Morocco UB congregation. Survivors include 2 sons, Irving and Charles, both of Temperance; a daughter, Mrs Grover Kinsey of Ida, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
