Mrs. Royal Reaume
Mrs. Royal (Myrna) Reaume, 70, of 1115 Lavender St. died of cancer at 9 a.m. yesterday in her home. She had been in poor health for five years and seriously ill for five months. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today in the Allore Funeral Home where rosary services will be at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rev. Hugo Noetzel officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Newport. The daughter of John and Helen Roberts, she was born Feb. 12, 1903, in Newport. She was married to Royal Reaume Nov. 24, 1925, in St. Charles Catholic Church, Newport. Mrs. Reaume came to Monroe four years ago from Newport. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and its Altar Society. Surviving are her husband; 4 daughters, Mrs. Orville (Ruby) Montri of LaSalle, Miss Evelyn Reaume of Southfield, Mrs. Donald (Marilyn) Blaine of Rockwood and Mrs. Ronald (Audry) Stein of Monroe; 3 brothers, Amos Roberts of Newport, Chauncey Roberts of Rockwood and Henry Roberts of Waltz; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lydia Bernard of River Rouge and Mrs. Francis Reaume of Newport; 10 grandchildren, and 4 stepgrandchildren. Mrs. Reaume was preceded in death by her parents, a son and three sisters.
