Mrs. Sarah Friedt
Services for Mrs Freidt Special to the Evening NewsDUNDEE---June 9---Funeral services for Mrs Sarah Jane (Rightmire) Friedt, pioneer Dundee township woman who died Tuesday evening at the age of 89, were held at the Congregational Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. W.H. Prestidge of Deerfield officiating. Burial was in Maplewood cemetery. Those attending the funeral from out of town were Mr and Mrs Fred Van Sant of Petersburg, Mr and Mrs George Friedt of Kalamazoo, Mr and Mrs William Friedt, of Middleville, Michigan, Frank VanSant of Middleville, Mrs Nellie McCollins of Clinton, Michigan, Mrs Gertrude McCollins of Mason, Mrs William Self and Marshall Sydam of Toledo. Mrs Mary Stowell and Earl Stowell sang "I'm a Pilgrim", and "There I Shall Understand". Pallbearers were William Raymond, William Moore, George Ryder, Cal Van DeVenter, William Coucher and George Cunningham.
