Mrs. Kenneth (Nellie Jane Reynolds) Armstrong
LASALLE-----Mrs Kenneth (Nellie Jane Reynolds) Armstrong, 69, of 1124 Wood Rd, LaSalle, died at 1:45 p.m. Friday in her home. Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home from 4 p.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Tuesday, when the body will be taken to Zion United Methodist Church, LaSalle, to lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. time of services. The Rev. Paul Hoffmaster of Flint and the Rev. Don Daws of the church will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist church.
Born Nov 16, 1906, in LaSalle, to Arthur and Lottie (Clark) Reynolds, Mrs Armstrong married Kenneth Armstrong Jan 16, 1926, in Monroe. Mrs Armstrong was a member of the Zion United Methodist church, the LaSalle Women's Christian Temperance Union, was its past county president and a charter member, and was a member of the royal Neighbors of America. Surviving are her husband, 3 daughters, Mrs Thomas (Jane) Eisenmann of Temperance, Mrs Ralph (Jean) Setzler of LaSalle, and Mrs John (Ilma) Reppe of LaSalle, 16 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Preceding her in death were a daughter, Wanda, a brother and a sister.
