Wm Kelley Yarger was born in Westmoreland Co, Pa, Feb 20, 1830 and died at his home after a few days illness, July 24, 1911 age 81 years, 5 months, 4 days. He came to Michigan in the spring of 1852. He was married to Helen L. Willard Oct 8, 1865, who preceded him to the better world Feb 15, 1904. To them were born eight children four of whom survive. Elmer and Elam of Jewell Co, Kansas, Joseph and Miss Susie, of this place, who tenderly cared for their aged father. He also leaves four brothers and two sisters. Early in their married life they united with the Baptist church of this place and always remained true to that faith. Funeral services were conducted Friday morning July 28th at the Neriah Evangelical church by Rev. Hathaway; interment on the family lot in the cemetery by the church
