Marie passed away on Monday, October 20, 2003 at her home. She was born on April 2, 1957 in Niles. Carol was a member and pipe carrier with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. She is survived by a daughter, Rachel Kay of Eau Claire; four brothers and sisters: Edwin R. Kay of Buchanan, Lorne S. Kay of Buchanan, Dove Wood Rick of Galien and Leona Christine Spencer of Flagstaff, Arizona; and a grandson, Christopher Kay. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Grace Kay. Visitation and services will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, until 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, the time of Traditional Services, at the Neeganageezhic Ceremonial Building in Sault Ste. Marie. Arrangements are being handled by Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home. Sault Ste.
