JAMES C. MORIN, 55, of Anchorage, AK., and formerly of Baraga, MI. died suddenly November 27, 2004 at Providence Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

He was born in Hancock, MI, on July 20, 1949 son of the late Elzior and Elizabeth (James) Morin. James resided in Alaska for the last 7 years and was employed by a national chain restaurant. He was a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. James enjoyed traveling and spending time with his friends.

Mr. Morin was survived by his children; Ronnie Paul Morin of Kansas, Dylan Morin of Baraga, and Shelly Sager of Kansas, brothers; Peter (Diane) of Baraga, Ron (Cheryl) of Ohio, Rick of Canada, and sister; LaDonna of Detroit. Numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral: Reid Funeral Service and Chapel, L'Anse with Pastor Alan B. Fluegge officiating.

Interment is in Baraga Cemetery, Baraga, Baraga County, Michigan.
