Submitted by Rose Edwards mailto:baragarose@up.net ************************************************************************ Stephen Michael Bedell (June 13, 1972-June 17, 2002) MIDDLEVILLE, MI -- Mr. Stephen Michael Bedell, 30, of Middleville, MI passed away Monday, June 17, 2002 at his home. Mr. Bedell was born on June 13, 1972 in Garden City, Michigan the son of Leslie & Darlene (Byers) Bedell. He was raised in the Detroit & Marquette areas and attended schools there, graduating in 1990 from Marquette High School. He went on to attend Northern Michigan University. He had been living in Middleville for the past three months. Stephen was a Union Carpenter and was engaged in carpentry work on several projects throughout Michigan. He was a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. He loved & participated in many sports including swimming, football & track while attending school. His love of hunting always brough him back to the U.P. time & again. Mr. Bedell will be greatly missed by the many whose hearts he has touched. Mr. Bedell is survived by his Mother Darlene Bedell of Middleville; Father Leslie Bedell of Iron Mountain; Son, Evan Trent Beyne, brothers Jim Bedell and Kim Bedell of Middleville; Sister Jan Dyer of Kalamazoo; Paternal Grandmother Liz Fisette of Marquette; Uncle Steve (Valerie) Fisette of Marquette; Aunt Georgie (Bob) Maynard of Marquette; many cousins & special friends. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2002 at Wren Funeral Home with REv. Kenneth R. Vaught officiating. Visitation is Friday (6/21/02) on hour prior to the funeral time. Memorial contributions may be made to the family at 879 Wickwood Way, Middleville, MI 49333. Arrangements are being handled by the Wren Funeral Home, 1401 N. Broadway, Hastings, Michigan.
