Charles Gurney was born in Grange County, Ohio, June 6, 1853. His father moved to Tuscola County, Mich., the same year. Mr. Gurney received the degree of B. S. at the Tuscola High School, and subsequently studied law, and was admitted to the bar in 1881. For several years Mr. Gurney has been engaged in teaching school a portion of the year. |
