| A. Z. Moore was beorn in Kennebec County, Maine, May 28, 1847. Learned the tanners trade, and worked at it from 1864 till 1871, when he made Shelby, Oceana Co., Mich., his home, and engaged with the C. & W.M.R.R. Co. as station master and operator, which position he still holds. |
