The household goods belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vander Linden have arrived and soon they will be located in the John Langham residence on Division street. The Allswede family will move from the Langham residence into their new bungalow on Wood street.

Carl J. Faist of Alma made a short call Friday noon on his mother, Mrs. Kittie I. Faist.

Mrs. Frances Haist and family have been visiting their son and brother, Albert and wife at Adrian lately.

Jimmie Thompson of Paris visited in the home of his grandmother, Mrs. DeWitt, a portion of last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Finkbeiner of Linden, Clifford Tyler of Rochester, Glenn Blanchard of Three Rivers, and Roy Blanchard of Flint attended the funeral of Mrs. John Blanchard.

The high school basketball team commenced practice Monday.

The Misses Wilma Carlin and Trella Rough of Niles visited Dorothy Frye for a few days last week.

Earl Zimmerman, who is employed at St. Ignace, was home for the ween end with his brother, Ray, and wife.

The Misses Ethel Hines of Adrian and sister, Agnes M. Hines, of the U.S. Marine Hospital at Norfolk, Virginia, left Monday after visiting Dr. and Mrs. G.A. Vail and other relatives.

Mrs. H.M. Fickle substituted this past week in the Primary room. The regular instructor, Miss Joy Brockway, was ill.

' Fred Daeschler and sister, Mrs. Marie Schwab of Chicago attended the funeral of their grandparent, Joseph Morlock, Sr., after which they escorted their mother, Mrs. John Daeschler on her return to the city.

Among of those are ill with severe colds are. Mrs. G. Morlock, Mrs. Fred Musgrove, and son, Clare, and Wm. C. Faist.
