Mr. O. Clifton "Cliff" House, 87, of Gaylord died Saturday, March 17, 2001, at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Mr. House spent
his entire life in Gaylord and wintered many years in Arizona after retirement. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and square
dancing. Mr. House was preceded in death by three brothers: Fred House, Ira House, Richard House, two sisters: Nora
Clark, Dorothy Slater, and one great grandson, Kurt Prusakiewicz. Mr. House is survived by his wife Macelle of Gaylord,
one daughter, Marjorie (Redford) Sanders of Gaylord, one son, Eugene (Mary) House of Gaylord, six grandchildren: Susan
Nussbaum, Terri Sorenson, Sandra Prusakiewicz, Jeffrey House, Victoria Prusakiewicz, Christina McDonald, and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, George House of Florida, one sister-in-law, Orma Clark of St. Ignace, MI,
and many nieces and nephews. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held on Monday, March 19, 2001, at 1:00 PM from the
Nelson Funeral Home, Rev. John Naile officiating. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Sunday from 3 to 8 PM and on
Monday from noon until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be
made to Hospice of Michigan or to the First United Methodist Church, through the Nelson Funeral Home. |
