April 11, 2001 Herald Times Susan Ella Ruth Schweihofer, 53, of Gaylord, died Sunday, April 8, 2001 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Schweihofer was born April 27, 1947 in Detroit and moved to Gaylord in 1979. She had been formerly em-ployed at the Days Inn. Mrs. Schweihofer is survived by her husband, Michael; two daughters, Kera (Larry) Platte of Gaylord and Kelly Schweihofer of Gaylord; one grandson, Hunter Platte of Gaylord; two sisters, Chris Firth of Gaylord and Zena (Chris) Zeidell of Waterford; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Booth, and her parents, Fred and Ruth Luckau. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 12 at 1 p.m. from the Nelson Funeral Home, Pastor David Hugger officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, beginning at noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the new Otsego County Animal Shelter through the Nelson Funeral Home.
