Spoonville Chapel To Be Demolish, 1933 SPOONVILLE - Kieft, and Boiten, contractors of Grand
Haven, have purchased the Spoonville Chapel and shed, and have started to tear
it down. The half acre of ground on which it stood since 1888 has been purchased
by L. C. Plant, formerly of this place, but now of Lansing, and the contents are
now on the premises of S. M. Easterly, where they will be disposed of Saturday
afternoon, April 1st. The proceeds of the sales will be presented to the M. E.
Church at Nunica. The sale of the Spoonville Chapel furniture was very well attended, and a neat sum netted from the sale. |
