The body of Sgt. Edwin Albrecht, former Zutphen man who lost his life in the Battle of Luzon in 1945, was laid to final rest Saturday afternoon. Final rites were observed at the Hildreth Funeral Home in Grandville and interment was made in the Wyoming Township cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, June, and one son, John Edwin; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Albrecht, and two brothers, Wallace and Harley. He also leaves his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Albrecht.
