Grand Rapids Newspaper, May 22, 1917 Albert Boardmann Grand Haven, May 22, Albert Boardmann, a government employee, died suddenly at his home Monday night. He attended to his duties as custodian of government property, came home to supper and passed away. He was born in 1845 in Vermont, serving in the Civil War in the Twelfth Vermont Infantry. He was the first engineer on the dummy line which ran between this city and Highland Park. For the last fifteen years he had been an employee of the government. Surviving is the widow. Funeral services will be held at the residence on Thursday afternoon with intermet in Lake Forest Cemetery. |
